# Branding & Design

We help clients with creative design, logo integration, and packaging/labeling guidance for promotional campaigns.

To start a project, email **adrpromo@adrpromotions.com** or call **905-761-9552**.

## What we do for branding & design

- We design promotional programs and support clients with copywriting, typesetting, graphic design, packaging, and fulfillment.
- We handle both stock and custom programs and can integrate your logo across apparel, drinkware, bags, awards, trade-show materials, and more.
- We create virtual mockups of your logo on products so you can visualize placement and scale before you commit to production.
- We advise on packaging and labeling as part of order fulfillment and custom program set-ups.

When you distribute promotional items, we place and reproduce your logo the way you specify. We partner design guidance with production and fulfillment so artwork decisions feed directly into manufacturing and packaging.

## Typical workflow (how a project moves through design)

1. **Initial brief and product selection**
   - You tell us which items you want (for example: t-shirts, pens, drinkware, tote bags, banners).
   - We help you pick product styles and branding locations.
2. **Asset submission**
   - Send whatever brand files you have (logos, color specs, fonts, examples of prior uses).
   - See the artwork checklist below for what we prefer.
3. **Virtual mockup / proofing**
   - Our art staff creates a virtual sample (digital mockup) showing logo placement.
   - We review and revise until you approve the proof.
4. **Pre-production sample (recommended)**
   - For larger runs or custom items, we recommend a physical pre-production sample before full production.
5. **Production and packaging**
   - After approval, we move to production and then to any requested packaging, labeling, or fulfillment steps.

## What we ask you to provide (artwork checklist)

We accept a range of file types and always review your files on receipt. If anything needs to be converted or cleaned up, we’ll let you know. To reduce back-and-forth, please provide:

- Brand guideline files (palette hex codes, fonts or font names, logo variations for dark/light backgrounds)
- High-resolution/vector logo files when possible (native/source or vector formats)
  - **Required file formats (preferred for production): EPS, Adobe Illustrator, or PDF files that are vectorized and outlined.**
  - If you don’t have the proper files, we can help you convert or re-create your artwork.
  - If vector art isn’t available, provide high-resolution raster files and originals.
- Notes on preferred logo placement and maximum/minimum logo size on each product
- Any mandatory legal or label text that must appear on packaging or product labeling

If you have very specific file-format rules (for example: a required PDF/X workflow, exact DPI, or color-profile requirement), include them when you send files so we can confirm compatibility.

## Proofs, mockups, and pre-production samples

- **Virtual mockups:** Digital mockups showing logo placement on items. These are intended to resolve placement, layout, and relative sizing.
- **Pre-production sample:** For custom production runs, we recommend a physical pre-production sample before full production to reduce the risk of unexpected color or imprint results.

## Packaging and labeling guidance

We provide packaging and labeling as part of fulfillment for custom programs. If you require custom boxes, printed sleeves, or specific labeling (barcodes, lot codes, instruction inserts), tell us during the brief so we can scope options and MOQ (minimum order quantity) implications.

## How we estimate timelines and costs

- **Timeline:** After the initial brief and file submission, we typically produce a virtual mockup within our design queue turn. For custom items, production lead times vary by product and vendor. A pre-production sample adds extra lead time but reduces production risk. Confirm exact turnaround when you place the order.
- **Fees:** Mockup or design fees depend on scope (simple placement vs. full brand concept). If you require rush service, special artwork clean-up, or custom packaging, we will quote those as part of the estimate.

## Practical tips to speed approval and production

- Provide vector logo files where possible and include a one-line note with required color values and fonts.
- Tell us exact imprint locations and maximum imprint sizes for apparel or items that have constrained imprint zones.
- Approve virtual mockups promptly; delayed approvals push production schedules.
- If you want a physical pre-production sample, request it early in the approval step so sample lead time is accounted for.

## Common product categories we brand

- Apparel (t-shirts, polos, jackets, hats)
- Drinkware and glassware
- Bags and tote bags
- Writing instruments
- Awards and recognition items
- Trade-show textiles (table covers, banners)

## Closing notes

We’re set up to combine creative design support with product sourcing, production, packaging, and fulfillment so your branded campaign is handled end-to-end.

To get started, email **adrpromo@adrpromotions.com** with a brief project summary and attach any existing brand files. We’ll respond with next steps and request any additional information needed.
